Q. How often should I get an eye exam?
A. It depends on things such as your age, health, eye health, and any pre-existing health conditions such as diabetes. In general, adults should have their eyes checked every one to two years.

Q. Do you provide eye care and vision therapy for children?
A. Yes, our services include Child Vision Services to work through the major milestones of a child’s vision as well as any vision therapy that would be needed.

Q. What laser procedures can your clinic perform?
A. We do not perform any laser procedures on our own. However, we do provide referrals for patients who are eligible for these treatments. Schedule an eye exam to determine eligibility.

A. Yes, if you need to buy new corrective eyewear after your exam with us, you can also buy frames, prescription glasses, prescription sunglasses, and contact lenses from our clinic.

Q. What brands of eyewear do you sell?
A. Our shop carries glasses from top brands such as Versace, Ray Ban, Oakley, Prada, Lafont, Dolce & Gabbana, Juicy Couture, and Lacoste. For contact lenses, we sell Acuvue, Air Optix, and Synergeyes.

Q. Do you have any programs for local students?
A. Yes, students who are registered for classes at the University of British Columbia (UBC) automatically get extended insurance coverage (AMS/GSS) which covers things like eyecare. You can redeem this coverage at Point Grey.
