Simple Eye Care Tips for Anyone to Use
Caring for your eyes is easy to do, yet so many people disregard doing so and end up paying for it down the line when their eyes start to degenerate. Whether you are a male or female, you can use these easy eye care tips to your advantage.

Wear UV Ray Protective Eye Gear

Wearing shades that have UV protection is important for protecting your eyes from sun damage. Having sunglasses that are 99 percent to 100 percent UV protected is the best to protect your eyes. Then shades that wrap around your eyes is the best because it will protect your entire eye from the front and the sides. You should also avoid buying sunglasses that say cosmetic. Wearing hats can also protect your upper eye, which is prone to skin cancer.

Keep Your Hands Clean

It’s a good habit to wash your hands after using them for whatever reason. Your hands carry a lot of germs and dirt from touching things all day long, so you don’t want that stuff in your eyes when you rub or touch your eyes without first washing your hands. You can also use hand sanitizers, which you can carry around with you and use when you don’t have access to soap and water.

Get a Lot of Shuteye

When you get enough sleep, you are able to rest your eyes from all of the strain that it goes through throughout the day. It’s good to take cat naps and to close your eyes when doing something strenuous like staring at digital screens or reading tons of papers.

Eat Leafy Dark Green Vegetables

A lot of great vitamins and antioxidants can be found in dark green leafy vegetables. Those like peas, broccoli, spinach and lettuce have lutein, which acts as a protective agent against UV rays – something we all need during the summer months.
